Can't argue with a word of that!
A couple of seasons ago, to go 0-2 down would have seen half the crowd walk out, but THIS season, we just shrug and have the belief that it's just a blip. It's just Villa doing it the hard way! Games against Blackburn in the Carling Cup semi-final and Reading in the FA Cup are a couple of examples!
The fans this season have been outstanding and I include myself in that category as I left Wembley with a throat so raw it was bleeding! There is no place at Villa Park, or any other ground for that matter where Villa fans boo Villa. I hate it and an anger wells up inside me when I hear it, but they're just disappointed.
I'm old enough to remember the third division days. The relegation seasons under Billy Mcfuckinneill and Graham Turner!! In those days we used to boo the team onto the pitch at the beginning of the game!!! (just kidding) - But you know what I mean. The youngsters of today have never experienced a REALLY bad season, only bad games within a season. Forgive them, they're still young
I can't make it to Villa Park on Wednesday as I'm working, but my heart will be at Villa Park and my support will have to be in the throats of others.... Don't let me down!
