I've had a Barry, Laursen, Ash and a couple Carews. Also have one from last season with my name (figured I can't be transferred ).


I'm deciding between Dunne and Petrov for this year. Warnock and Collins are outside possibilities. I guess it kind of depends on how everyone looks at the start of the season.

I remember it was very rare to get a number on your shirt, back in the late 80's/early 90's
I had a #8 on the old white hummel with purple in it away kit my first number, for Platty. It was a felt # and I thought I was cool as fudge!!
Had Saunders & McGrath when Premier League but since then none.
WOuld probably go for Heskey this year.

It was 95 I think, when I had a name on my shirt, why I chose Barrett is anyones guess

Earl Barrett was class Jim, for me he was the best RB we had, just slightly ahead of Delaney.
Also I used to get Match magazine back then religiously! and when Giggs first came on the scene he said the toughest opponent he had faced was Barrett!!

No doubt about it, but why I chose him ahead of Saunders and Dalien, i'll never know.

We paid Oldham £1.7m for him which is still a record today for funds received for an Oldham player
