Well I watched the video of the match in it`s entirety last pm . And JC was playing like he was enjoying playing for Villa ----- the best I`ve seen him play , so maybe if he can stay fit and with his new Strike partner Weimann Villa can get back to the goal scoring days of the season before last . It will be interesting to see how they perform against real opposition in the shape of Feyenoord & Benfica this weekend .
Albrighton is starting to look strong on the wing and his balls in to the center are what we`ve been lacking . As for a wizard that someone ? Shelley said we need well look no further than Bannon whose skill on the basll is 2nd to none the only doubt is if the dimutive Scot is physically strong enough for the rigours of the Prem .
The down side of the game was defence and Davies was showing why he`s tranfer listed and Freidal had words with him & Shorey @ one stage after a near calamity .Which was one of several , most of which Cuellar managed to avert . Shorey who looked good in attack was yet again weak in defence and compared with the overall performance Lichaj gave @ LB against Posh was poor !
Overall the game was good end to end stuff with Villa showing good ball control and possession against a determined Walsall team
